Ethan's Cafe - Clearfield
Ethan's Cafe
Description
Ethan's Cafe offers a mixed dining experience with some hits and some misses. While the clam chowder was a standout for one diner, the cobb salad and greasy tacos left something to be desired. However, the cafe's inviting ambience, extensive menu, and friendly service make it a popular lunch spot. The food quality and generous portions, especially the sandwiches and specialty coffees, make Ethan's Cafe a great choice for a satisfying meal while on the road. Despite some minor hiccups like wait times and inconsistencies in food quality, Ethan's Cafe is a cozy and welcoming stop worth checking out for a delicious lunch or coffee break.

What a great stop for lunch! We were looking for a place while driving by on I 80. We read a few Google reviews and decided to try it. It was worth it! We shared a Quesadilla with Dune fries and were very satisfied. Because of previous reviews we had totry a specialty coffee. They were delicious! And friendly staff!
Big city cafe energy in a small mountain town. The warm yet chic ambience and extensive menu give a strong you can have it all and no one is judging. Coffee is served on a saucer, and you feel right at home sipping your brew along the brick wall at acozy but spacious wooden table. I enjoyed a Caramello and am only disappointed that I live far away and won 't be able toreturn soon.
We attended band night featuring Stoneman and enjoyed every moment! The food was delicious, and the music was fantastic! We're already looking forward to our next visit!
Amazing food, great coffees friendly staff. The owners have perfected the cafe dining experience. It's always phenomenal. Make sure you get some dune fries!
A mixed experience. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered clam chowder, which we both enjoyed; my husband, who lived in Boston for ten years, was particularly impressed. Unfortunately, my Cobb salad was a letdown. While the ingredients were mostly fresh and the grilled chicken was decent, the guacamole seemed store-bought, and the salad dressing came from a pouch, which felt inconsistent with their claim of "homemade" items on the website. My husband ordered a burrito but was mistakenly served tacos instead. Given that we were short on time, he chose not to request a replacement. While the tacos were packed with beef, they were overly greasy, and the seasoning reminded me of the pre-packaged "Mexican" spices from the 70s. The rice was soaked in cumin and nearly inedible.
