Bro these reviews are fake and stacked against the business, you're not looking at anything near $20-30 per person. I can get a full salmon nigiri, specialty roll and 2 spring rolls for less than $20. Even if I replace the specialty roll for the bento dinner it's less than $25. Great food, always fresh and I've never gotten sick after eating here which is huge. View all feedback.
What Jake D doesn't like about Yamato Japanese Steakhouse Sushi:
Food is great, service is questionable. We pick up more than we eat in and every time we order and pick it up they quite literally toss the food onto a counter and walk off. View all feedback.

Went in with a group of 6 for hibachi dinner. This one waitress was incredibly rude and obnoxious… Hibachi was boring, none of the cool tricks other places do. Then on top of that, we had to deal with the rude waitress WHO wasn’t even ours yapping the whole time. Highly recommend steering clear of this one.
I lived in Clarksville yearsss ago and I still think of this place often. I have lived in many states and countries nothing has beat this place for me??
I have never had so much fun watching food be made. It was very entertaining.
My boys (7 and 9) came for the first time last Friday Night to have an early fathers day celebration. Our daughter (16) had been before. The food was absolutely amazing, which was no surprise, as Yamato has been one of our favorites since we got married 14 years ago. But I absolutely had to share what my 7 year old boy had to say, Wow!! We need to rate this place number ONE! They must have to train them to cook like that for like 50 years! Both of my boys were seriously impressed with both the show and the food and have requested to come back several times already! Kid-friendliness: The heat can be intense, but as long as you wait until children are old enough to understand it will be Hot and have fire, then you should be ok. I tend to scoot my kids back from the table about 6-12 inches to help with the heat. The show is always great fun for both kids and adults, and they always take special care to entertain everyone and make it fun! While older kids that I have been with have always enjoyed it, it IS expensive and not exactly the type of dining experience you don 't want to enjoy if you are paying for it, so I would definitely consider my children 's ages and make sure that I find a babysitter for infants and toddlers if you will be doing hibachi. They do have a few tables for those that don 't want the hibachi, but it is so much more fun with them cooking everything right there. Just consider your children 's ages and maturity before bringing them in and everything will be fine! ?
