Great food, great atmosphere, and fantastic staff. A wonderful firehouse.

I recently stopped by to grab two subs to go and ended up waiting for 45 minutes, despite there being three employees on duty. During my wait, I only saw four people receive their orders, while 17 others were still sitting and waiting for their food. It seemed like the staff lacked motivation to work.

I've been to this restaurant many times and usually have a great experience. However, last week I placed an online order and ended up with the wrong sandwich when I got home. We called the restaurant and spoke with Rosalind. She took our name and, incredibly, remembered us a week later. She made us a brand new sandwich and was so kind in resolving the issue. I’ve had numerous orders with Rosalind at the counter, and she runs everything very efficiently—always providing mistake-free service with a smile. It really brings back memories of excellent customer service! I encourage everyone to stop by and dine here. Rosalind is the familiar face and voice at our Firehouse on Madison Street, so please show her and her team's hard work some appreciation.
