A wonderful experience, the quiet little venue is clean, well managed by friendly staff. The food is fresh, filled and reasonable. I ordered the Bento box and wow the menu image makes it look much smaller than it is! So much good food, enough for two! Bring your appetite and leave with pleasure. View all feedback.
What Camill Clifford doesn't like about Pho King Japanese Sushi Tea:
I could not pick up my order due to illness. I called them that day to pause on making the order I would come get it another day. When I called back I was told they had to check cameras because no note was left. They are keeping my money and not providing the service. Terrible customer service and rude o the phone View all feedback.
Best pho restaurant in town. My husband and I love eating here. It is kids friendly too.
The good: Food is good (from what myself and my wife have tried). The hibachi is really good. Portion sizes are good. The bad: The music is always waaaaay too loud. Don’t even bother sitting near the speakers at the front, I couldn’t hear my wife sitting right next to me. It’s a chill pho restaurant not a nightclub. The music choice speaks to this same point as well and leaves a lot to be desired. I was really hoping last time it was just a one time thing but it’s been a consistent issue now where we’ve actively went elsewhere just to avoid the loud music. Only other negative thing I have to say is that the service leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes it’s good, other times very bad. Last time my wife ordered egg rolls (that we’ve gotten many many times here) and they were clearly not cooked thoroughly or properly. Something was definitely off. I kindly asked the server during checkout for a refund seeing as how she tried one bite of each (hoping that at least one would be edible) and she just told me that they “make them fresh every day” and they are the “same every day”. Basically just refused to refund them.
The service was nice but the pho was bland. I could have looked past that, but there is mold on the ceiling and there was a roach running around our table by the condiment tray. I don't think I'll be back here after seeing the roach.
It looks like this restaurant has a new cook. The soup for the fried rice was too salty, so I couldn’t even try it more than once. The cook was not very careful and added pieces of egg shell to the fried rice. The pho noodle tasted different and it was also salty as well. In addition, the vegetable was not fresh. Overall, the food was not very good. One of the waitresses did not seem to be experienced and missed several things when serving. However, she was still trying to be nice.
Ordered the yakisoba noodles and pork stir-fry and a grilled pork bahn-mi sandwich. The yakisoba didn 't have any resemblance to Japanese food. The only flavor was in the pork. The noodles and 4 pieces of cabage were bland. There was a shrimp tail in my pork yakisoba. Not a whole shrimp, just the tail. The bahn-mi was ok. There were no jalapeño slices or pâté, and the pork was the exact same pork in my yakisoba. The best part of the whole meal was the bahn-mi bun. It was perfect. I 'll not be going back
