perfect seating for small groups up to 15 people beautifully furnished. beautiful mixed tees can make them hot, icy or sparkle. Eating is unique and served like a high tee in england. this is my fifth time to eat here. I've never been disappointed. View all feedback.
What Gregory A doesn't like about The Mad Herbalist:
My wife has been here several times and she always enjoyed it. This was my first time and it was horrible, it took over an hour to be seated. We finally get seated and it was 15 minutes till our waitress came to get our order. The food was good but our drinks came after the food. I’ll try it again but I’m not impressed so far. Also, we sat at this little “bar” facing a wall and I didn’t enjoy that. View all feedback.
The Mad Herbalist is a hidden treasure. It is a cozy place where you can relax and chat with friends without feeling how you are being spun out. Their teas are unique blends that tickle your taste buds. The food and its presentation are amazing. There is a set menu, but you can order from the dish or order the level. Tea is with the animal. The staff is very knowledgeable and wants you to enjoy every part of your experience. Below is for small parties, but there is an upper floor that can easily accommodate up to 20. There are also outdoor seating. You can make reservations online or go. Check their website for their current menu, but be assured there is nothing you don't like!
This place was beautiful and the tea and food were delicious, the service was wonderful I will definitely be back can't wait to try everything
I moved here 2 years ago and this place is hands down my favorite place to eat! Not only are they super friendly, they have gluten free and vegan options that taste amazing! I have never been disappointed with what I've gotten here. Any time a friend wants to go to lunch I say The Mad Herbalist! Their kombucha is to DIE for!Vegetarian options: Lots of options!Parking: Plenty of parking
Even if you don’t have time to enjoy their lovely cafe, they make amazing food to go!! I just loved their pesto grilled cheese, house made potato chips and super fresh arugula! The box they pack it in is perfect. Their super friendly attitude is such a joy! Don’t deny yourself…stop in.Outside seating is great! But go with the high tops. Picnic table seating has benches that are too high make dining tough on lower back.
This place is a hidden gem! We were sitting at the light and saw the small sign. I thought it was a tea store and I'm down for tea, anytime!! My wife and I love the concept of the old log cabin and there's a good history for it as well. The ambiance is awesome for studying, quiet time, or a quiet chat with friends. The outdoor seating is also great for sitting under the trees in the open air. Although it's close to the road it's super quiet. I loved the flight of tea sampler and the bread and beer cheese. If it wasn't on the other side of town for us we would be regulars. I look forward to coming back.
