This is just a regular buffet. It does not taste like authentic Chinese nor Japanese buffet. Price is reasonable for lunch $11.29 and dinner is $14.99. Drinks are not included, will be added on for $2.89 with free refills. Decor and atmosphere is verytranquil.
If you crave to pay for mediocre food, poor service, and wet seats to sit in ? look no further ? Sakura Buffet is your place. Weary travelers driving down the I-80 will be excited to see a Japanese restaurant on their search engines. But, learnfrom other people?s experience and steer away. There are other options in town. Here?s my experience today: As we entered therestaurant, we were offered a seat. Just as I was about to get seated, I noticed that the table was freshly wiped. My ninjainstincts kicked in (sorry, couldn?t help myself) and I glanced at the seat and it was wet! We asked to be seated elsewhere andthe usher who couldn?t speak English led us to a dry seat. Phew! Little did we know that the excitement was just gettingstarted. I?m a vegetarian and I asked the waitress if I could order food to be prepared. But, with her agile hand movements andabrupt tone, she made it adequately clear that I need to pick something from the buffet. I?m sure that on a better day, shewould have asked me if there?s anything that I need, but I suppose she had decide to skip the basic tenets of customer servicefor today. But our adventure doesn?t end here. I got up and went to get sushi to go. Today, they decided that they want tocharge me for the soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger slices and that too, by weight! At this point, I made the determination thatthese kind folks don?t want my business. So, we promptly left the premises and took a 2 minute drive down to Taco Bell, where wewere greeted with old fashioned customer service. They served me fresh food and did not even charge me for the packets of sauce? imagine that! In case you?re wondering how I determined that the food is mediocre, the full story is that my friends werewith me and had already started eating when I was on a quest to find vegetarian sushi. My friends stopped eating and decided toleave with me. I pressed them to stay, but they were glad to leave because the food wasn?t good. Goodbye, Sakur
Great stop for lunch. Food was standard American-style Chinese fare. Was clean and well maintained. Pleasant atmosphere. Food was all fresh and quickly refilled. We liked that they had a lot of fish and seafood options.
I love the sushi here. Fresh and clean. Lots of choices on the buffet. My favorite for take out. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff.
Food was good but staff were really rude. Waitress got the drinks wrong then barely came back to refill the drinks. We went for my mom's party and there were purple already there eating and we were late so everyone else left before we even got our food, but the staff charged us a 10% fee for being part of a large group, even though they had nothing noting that before we ordered, and even though we are by ourselves (We did not reserve a table by the way so it as as is). We only had 5 people total left whenwe paid and they would not take off the 10% fee. Extremely bad customer service
