Wimpy's Diner - Clarington

Love the booths, food is hot and fresh...service is fast and friendly...this is a wonderful place to sit in the booth and listen to the old juke box while enjoying the great food! Decor is very nostalgic set in the 50's and 60's!

My wife and I stopped off at Wimpy's Diner and had a very nice experience. The place was very clean and the decor was eye appealing. The menu was varied and the food was very good with large portions at a fair price. The staff...were very friendly and the service was excellent. We highly recommend that people try this location.

My wife and I prefer Wimpy's restaurants to any of the fast food chains primarily for the better service but also the better food. We find the various Wimpy's locations vary considerably in service quality and food quality depending on the servers there and the...chef of the day on duty at the time. We find this Wimpy's and the one in Courtice to be the best in our area and the one in Oshawa and Toronto to be, well lets just say at the other end of the scale. Always fast service and the food always good and if there is a problem with something they always have fixed it and made things right. I love the slaw too here! It's usually made perfectly but not always the same at all Wimpy's restaurants. Oh, and the Famous Wimpy's Chocolate shake? Perfectly Delicious!

The first time here and a little hard to find as it is on the back of the plaza! faster and pleasant service and coffee was served quickly! Spouse had French toast, that was 6 pieces and very well done! I had peameal benedict and it was huge! 3 beer perfectly poched and a large amount very well seasoned and delicious home cutlery! we will be back here safely!
