Wild Wings - Clarington

It had been a while since we last dined at this restaurant, which happens to be our children's favorite spot. The service was exceptional, with a waitress who went above and beyond.

We went in for dinner on a Saturday night around five pm, prime dinner time in bowmanville. The place was empty and after eating there I could see why!! You have over fifty types of sauces to chose from which seems great if you don't get lost trying to figure out what combo to try. There wasnt alot of guidance from our server who was missing in action most of the night. The bartender was better athan explaining the menu after I got up from the table menu in hand and asked her what was what, However we realized that was the highlight of the night. Wings came out way overcooked and bone dry and cold in the centre. How is it possible to have overcooked almost burnt wings that were cool in the center? I'm almost certain they were cooked earlier in the day and put back in the deep fryer to reheat for us. The poutine was horible, the gravy was hot poured over lukewarm frozen fries. My husband ordered the boneless bites which also came reheated and overcooked. The whole meal was a bust. Our table was sticky and dirty. The floors were dirty, the bathrooms were dirty and we should have left. Don't bother going here for dinner unless you like dry burnt chicken wings. I get better wings at Swiss chalet!!!!!
