I have been wanting to visit this wonderful restaurant ever since they relocated from the CBD to the old Environs building. It's a charming place that I regret not visiting sooner. View all feedback.
What Lorenzo Mraz doesn't like about Hayashi:
Called in for a coffee and saw a great range of sushi that all looked fresh and appetising. However that's about where it stopped. Small range of food, very small serving area and the coffee was to hot . Did not take cards of any sort and the entire location was very tired. But great sushi. View all feedback.

The Japanese cuisine at this restaurant is top-notch, with delicious sushi and flavorful curries. The prices are very reasonable and the owners are friendly and accommodating. We have been here multiple times and are continually impressed by the excellent service and high-quality dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning for lunch again.
A great find. Wonderful Japanese cuisine by very friendly and helpful owners. A great place to meet for lunch. The food was probably the best we have ever tasted. Sushi and hot Japanese dishes. Not to miss. Will be eating here frequently.

The small, unique restaurant was very busy, which was understandable because the food was amazing. It was probably the best Japanese food I've ever had outside of Japan.
