El charro is my favorite restaurant in town! The food is delicious especially the Jalisco Special. Their queso is unimaginable i've never had a better one. The service is excellent. The new margaritas are awesome! The best ones i would have to say are the blue margarita and La Reina de sur i think that's how you spell it. View all feedback.
What Name Kihn doesn't like about El Charro:
Ate lunch there yesterday with friends. Service was okay, food was just average at best. The Salsa, chips, quacomole and Queso were good but the entrees were lacking. View all feedback.
El charro mexican restaurant. one of the many Mexican restaurants in claremore. it lies south of the city on the route 66 on a small half island of much west of lowes. I came to work yesterday and since I had ordered the molcajete mexicanos the last three times I was there, I decided it was time for a change. it is a small place with a friendly waiting staff and eating is quite good to this is what I ordered for an evaluation ice tee no sugar. with lemon camarones al la diablo side the salsa rojas decent amount to midday, and they were still able to make a table for seven. we sat on drinking orders and their chips and salsa were...read more
They eat with friends yesterday. the service was okay, the food was in the average. the salsa, chips, quacomole and queso were good, but the escapes were missing.
Excellent! our family loves to eat here. the people here are great, and we never tried what we didn't like. that is the place where they are hungry and looking for good food in good company.
Good for claremore. the chilaquiles were chips that were not authentic for this dish, but it was good the pollenbuvo was good with a queen. the hunch had a good wetness. the guac is a beautiful, flat art almost as common avocado what is as I prefer the burrito california is huge with its good queso cover it. the meat was well cooked, the avocado is good the salsa had a light kick that was good. the salsa verde was a bit too tweeper the Tacos coal has a solid garden steak flavor, but it was the tortilla a little greasy.
Disappointed. We were left quite disappointed by our meal at El Charo. The Chimi was small and was not fried and crispy as it should have been (and how the menu described it). The shredded beef didn't really have any flavor at all. The rice and beans weren't bad, but overall there wasn't any flavor on the plate. The salsa did not taste homemade and resembled the stuff you get in a jar at the store. This was the first time we've left a Mexican restaurant hungry and let down.
