I expected some good stan... read more I gotta admit, I didn't expect a whole lot. Maddogs is in a shopping center, and the windows are blacked out. It's in a town of 8,000. I expected some good standard southern food.Excellent host. Excellent, attentive server. Pork was tender and whatever they are doing to keep it fresh after the smoker, they should keep doing it. I think they must heat it fresh in the pan every time, which is a very high standard.Anyway, hot burger was good, pork was excellent. Staff was excellent. My wife didn't crinkle her nose once.

One order of fries were left off our order, the burger was way to small f... read more We ordered Philly cheesesteak with crinkle fries and a 1/2 lb cheeseburger with fries. One order of fries were left off our order, the burger was way to small for the bun even though it stayed 1/2 lb and was dry and the bread on Philly was tough. The fries were dry. We haven’t been here in awhile and don’t intend on returning. I’m all about supporting our community but it needs to be worth it.

Our... read more We've waited too long to try this place in Clanton, and it did not disappoint! The food is excellent—definitely try the loaded potato. You won’t regret it! Our waitress was fantastic, and there was an additional staff member checking in on everyone as well. We were informed upon arrival that there would be a wait for our food, so we were prepared for that. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
