Jackson Creek Saloon - Clancy
Jackson Creek Saloon
Description
Located in a charming small town, this restaurant has garnered mixed feedback from patrons. While some dishes, like the Chicharrones chicken and the pork chop sandwich, have drawn praise for their flavor and preparation, concerns about service persist. Long waits and perceived neglect from the staff dampen the dining experience for many. Additionally, management's controversial handling of former employees has created a negative atmosphere, leading some loyal customers to reconsider their frequent visits. Despite the well-being practices and decent food, a significant transformation is needed to restore its reputation and enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Feedback
The clam chowder at this restaurant is exceptional and the service is fantastic.
I was disappointed with the management of this restaurant. The staff, who were once great, have now left and it seems like the current management and staff speak negatively about them in front of customers. This creates a negative atmosphere and I will not be returning. I used to come here every week.
We waited for 40 minutes and still had not received our food. The restaurant was busy, but the waitress never checked on us, leading us to believe she never even put in our order. We will not be returning.
Jackson Creek has recently reopened, and the new restaurant is lovely, especially with its delightful outdoor seating area. However, the noise level inside can be overwhelming when there are more than ten customers. Last night, our group of four struggled to hear one another over the din. Unfortunately, our waitress got every single one of our food orders wrong; we were missing items for each order, including our drinks. The quality of the food was average at best. We ordered our burgers medium, but they came out well done. My husband's chicken was excessively oily, and my meal was served almost cold. Overall, it was quite disappointing. They really need to address the noise problem, as it’s simply too loud. Additionally, we were turned off by the $28 steak on the menu, feeling that the price didn't match the overall ambiance. Given that they have just reopened, it’s evident that they need to make some improvements.
