Very good family weekend for a birthday: dinner, night, breakfast and lunch/buffet. Nice well-kept establishment. professional and very kind staff. very good food: refined dinner dishes, breakfast buffets and lunch as well as cheese and dessert wagons very topped and of quality. well maintained room and renovated bathroom. very positive together.

We arrived without a booking relatively late. 13.15. The lady on the reception was friendly and helpful organising a table rather promptly. We were shown the menu straight away but then had to wait about 15-20 minutes before we could place our orders. Not much of a problem for us yet. The fixed menu sounded interesting so much so that we ordered 4 entrees for the 3 of us followed by 3?mains and 3 desserts. Entrees arrived: frogs legs truly appalling. Sauce stodgy, meat completely overcooked the only reasonable part of the dish was the artichoke heart. Pastry with snails good flavour but again stodgy, gambas overcooked and tough and the fous gras was passable. Then the unfortunate main courses: my faux fillet was tough the red wine sauce amateurish (no reduction, just the flavour of recently added red wine, no balance), 2 veal minute steaks, tough, chewy and inedible, we ate the morels and sent the rest back. The waitress said we could have something else which we declined. One of my friends had enough and cancelled her soufflé we ate our desserts. The pavlova ordinary the peach tiramisu was canned fruit with cream and cacao. I left it. When paying we told the Patron who shrugged his shoulders and charged the full amount. Would I send anyone there? Absolutely not nor would we ever go back. Shame because we really wanted to have a nice lunch but for €170 for a very mediocre meal and 3 glasses of wines is simply too much.
