Contribute FeedbackGustav's restaurant has garnered mixed reviews from patrons, highlighting both long-standing loyalty and recent disappointments. While many guests praised the delicious German cuisine and friendly staff, complaints surfaced about service delays and kitchen mismanagement, leaving diners feeling neglected and frustrated. Notably, repeated issues with beverage service and food availability marred the experience for some. Despite these setbacks, several customers celebrated the flavors and quality of the food, particularly the cabbage rolls and fondue. As the restaurant prepares to close briefly, it's encouraged to make reservations and approach the menu with grounded expectations. Overall, Gustav's remains a beloved but inconsistent favorite.
The food is cooked to perfection and served in a nice atmosphere. We love this place and eat here regularly. It is worth the money.
Had a laid back lunch as I waited for a loved one in surgery. The waitress was attentive but allowed me to hangout enjoying a beer. Service was fast and delicious.
Our lunch was exactly as ordered, delivered promptly to our table by a courteous and attentive server.
Restaurant was understaffed. Front desk greeter seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. Service person that brought water was friendliest of all. Slow from ordering until served, both for drinks and meal. Meal was…underwhelming…and fell short of expectations set by prior pre-Pandemic visits to Gustav’s. Would like to attribute it to being an “off-night” there, but visit was Friday at dinner time.
We had an excellent experience at our Mother's Day Celebration. We were well accommodated with a comfortable table for our wheelchair. The location was perfect for being able to hear each other well and, of course, the food was Top Notch!
