Coco Donuts
3.8 / 5 (95 reviews)

Description

Coco, a charming donut shop in Portland, is celebrated for its delectable offerings, particularly the buttermilk maple bars and apple fritters. The donuts boast a light, airy texture that's hard to resist. However, customers often face challenges with availability, as stock runs out early in the day, leading to disappointment. While the staff is friendly and attentive, service can be inconsistent, occasionally detracting from the overall experience. Although some patrons have found the coffee lacking, the enticing selection of unique donuts keeps many returning, despite the frustrations of order fulfillment. Coco's allure remains strong amid mixed reviews.

The donuts are good if you can get one. What kind of donut shop sells out before 9:00 and only stays open with almost nothing left to sell? At least it's close to other, better options! I also tried a cup of coffee while I was there and it was terrible, wouldn't recommend that either.

When I visited this restaurant for the first time, I was surprised by the variety of donuts available. However, there wasn't much to choose from. Despite hearing great things about the service, my experience was not good. When I pointed out a donut that I wanted, I was rudely told by an employee that he couldn't touch the window. I was confused by his response, as I had only pointed and not actually touched the glass. When I explained that I was just indicating the donut I wanted and hadn't touched the glass, all I got in return was a dismissive reply. The service was not good and unfortunately, there wasn't much variety in the donut selection. Additionally, the apple fritters were also rock hard.

The donuts are amazing! However, the customer service is really lacking, no matter how we try to order, online or in person. They frequently run out of stock and cancel orders unexpectedly, even if we pre-order. The staff at the counter is friendly, but can be easily distracted. We love the donuts when we are able to actually get our hands on them, but we may start looking for a different, less stressful option soon.

There are hardly donuts. the customer service is met or measured. mochi donuts are good, but the rest of their donuts are pretty bad. very expensive. try, but don't go back.

My daughter really wanted a doughnut. Went there this morning, sign on door said sold out of doughnuts. Not sure how that happens at a doughnut shop. Had to go elsewhere. What a bummer.
