We walked passed what we thought was a small restaurant but was surprised to find how large the dining area is inside. They had a gr8 range of draft beer (Leffe) and a gr8 menu. Happy to provide English menus and very welcoming. We had salad in a tortilla bowl and cheese and bacon partakes as a sharer and it was excellent. Worth the visit and close to the port/fortress.
Far West is far out if your thing is eating great steaks. Situated close to the old port this restaurant serves some of the best steaks I have even eaten, and believe me, steaks are my business. I have eaten steaks all over the world, it was my business for at least 48 years and I'm not done yet. The range of meats from different countries that this themed restaurant carries is formidable, the service is good and comes with no pretenses. They know they serve great food, so they don't have to embellish anything with false promises. The seating area is clean and well kept, they don't do frills to try and confuse the unsuspecting customer. The bar, like many in Italy is small, but they cater for every taste, especially those who like a beer with their meal. They are not afraid to display the various joints of air hung beef joints from which the discerning diner can choose from, eg, Argentinian beef sirloins,Piedmont beefsteaks, Japanese Kobe burgers and a really pleasant surprise, Irish grass fed beef on the bone, all can be cut to order, and the price won't break the bank. Your steak comes perfectly cooked, just as you ordered on a cast iron hotplate that sits in a wooden holder, Your sided come seperate and are either hot or cold , as they should be. This is a spot not to be missed or passed by if ever you get a chance to visit. Well done guys, all your hard work and efforts are really paying off. They also do a whole range of other dishes for those who don't feel the need to dig into a proper steak. All of them worth trying.
