Came for lunch and found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful. It seemed as if we were imposing by ordering and the food was good but nothing to be excited about. Others based on reviews have had a much better experience so I will assume it was an off day. View all feedback.
Everything we had was very good, the waiters were very attentive. I would go again! The pumpkin blossoms, cochinillo, and oxtail were my favorites.
100% recomendable.
The overall experience had me a little let down. Not speaking Spanish, I ordered the Zucchini Blooms which were nicely fried but overpowered by 2 major strong and competing sauce flavours. I also had the calamari appetizer which was average. For the main, the waiter suggested the canneloni which I told him I don 't eat pork. Fine, it came but it was duck, not on the menu, (it was a special) and I didn 't know this. He didn 't tell me, but I really don 't eat duck and I tried to like it. He asked me why I wasn 't eating it, I explained and he didn 't understand so he brought the Manager who took the plate away. When the bill came, I found I was charged after taking 2 bites from it. I can understand and don 't expect not to be charged, but I wasn 't informed and it would have been classy to take that cost off the bill. I paid $75 Canadian plus tip for 2 small appetizers and the canneloni roll that wasn ' t wha it was named, dry and hard to cut.
