View all feedback.

The ambiente is very beautiful, Indian, they have Argentine dishes and also Thai food. both are great!
The restaurant is quite eclectic, but beautiful inside. we had thought a tapas type of meal, was called tables sofia, which was a mix of meat, cheese etc. It was nice, but really big and enough for four really. the personal was friendly and I would say it was relatiw good value for money. I think, although some of the reviews here are somewhat exaggerated. not the coolest bar in which I was and while it is good, I wouldn't feel bad when they jumped it while in mendoza.
Really beautiful place in aristides. a little less informative than the majority of restaurants along this famous street, sofia offers large teller with an upscale atmosphere.
We had a great meal with friends in sofia. the calming atmosphere and the ambiente were so beautiful after a long day of travel. sofias healthy, light dishes were a great ease after eating so many parrillas and great meals. we were very happy!
After wandering up and down Villanueva, my wife and I opted to check out Sofia. Oddly it was pretty empty, even at 9pm, when other nearby places were packed or at least had packed patios. Bread was good, the waiter helped me pick an...excellent wine for our price range. They were out of stock on my initial choice, and he suggested something just 10 pesos more. Wife ordered salad with strawberries and got a rather large one which she enjoyed. I opted for the steak with the red fruit sauce had never tried a strawberry sauce on a steak. It was ok, it actually worked, but was ultimately unnecessary. As I joked with the waiter, the truth is the steak was so good it didn't need a sauce. Fortunately a good portion was largely un-sauced so I enjoyed both approaches. Enjoyed our meal there, and the steak was easily better than La Lucia the next night, as well as a couple places we ate earlier in the week in Buenos Aires. Good value as well. Might be pricy for locals, but for about $13USD I don't think you'll find a steak remotely as good in the US.
