We have been regular customers at Riverside for many years and our daughter was married there 4 years ago. It was the most picturesque and beautiful location for the wedding and the food Suzie cooked was absolutely delicious. Suzanne was extremely accommodating with every aspect of the day, including with the set up. The staff are friendly and we are always greeted like old friends when we arrive. We highly recommend Riverside for breakfast, lunch or morning/afternoon tea. It is a lovely place to bring visitors to soak up the history of a by gone era whilst sitting in the grounds of the majestic Woodbridge house. The cafe is situated on the riverbank, in what use to be, the “coach house” of the grand old mansion. Special little spot!
I'd previously been to the cafe for breakfast. It was lovely the food was delicious good value. We recently organised an outdoor afternoon tea for a birthday party group booking... it ended up being a unexpected wet afternoon. The staff pre-emptively moved us indoors. Setting up a lovely table setting. The staff were helpful accommodating. The food was lovely.
The breakfast was lovely. Nice friendly staff and the cafe was cosy and nice. Surely I will go back again .
I had a birthday and surprise engagement party at RiversideWoodbridge and cannot recommend them enough for any special celebration. The service was excellent in the lead up to the day and on the day. I was able to leave all the planning and decorating to the guys and I wasn't disappointed. The food on the day was also amazing and I'd highly recommend the homemade sausage rolls!
Thank you for the great meal and wonderful service. Ploughmans lunch was amazing!
