What Nicole Herzog doesn't like about Canale's:
Very disappointed with our recent dinner delivery order. Items were forgotten and the dinner was greasy, chewy and without a single mushroom, despite it being chicken catitore. We haven't ordered from Canales for awhile, but tonight was disappointing. View all feedback.
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and offers great value for delicious food. The fresh pasta is complemented by a very tasty sauce. The salad was enjoyable, and the house dressing was delightful. I ordered the steak with shrimp, along with bread and pasta on the side...
I was frustrated by the size of the party right from the start, so this may not be the best choice for a birthday or gathering with more than eight people. The food was underwhelming, especially the vodka sauce.
Attention chef: The fish should not have a fishy odor. The Fried Fisherman's Platter, priced at $30, was entirely frozen, reheated food—similar to what you’d find in a cafeteria from Sisco.
