Vinn's Tavern - City of Ogdensburg

I hadn't dined at Vinns in years, but we decided to order a few dozen wings, and they were fantastic. At $9.99 for 12 wings, it's arguably the best deal in the city. Despite how busy they were, we had our order ready in just 15 minutes! Five stars!

What a surprise was that when I made a contract work in the castle. No need to dress your best, Vinn's offers great food and drink in a relaxed environment, at a very reasonable price. Every day not only offers the regular menu, but 6-8 specials that are published daily on FB. Make sure to taste the soups freshly made daily. Outdoor seating, legal drinks and live music on certain evenings. The feeling I'm coming to Vinn's is like Cheers. You see as a friend and look forward to coming back.

We just moved in down the street, and I was so excited to learn there was a tavern within walking distance! And not just any walking distance, walking distance for a very lazy person. Unfortunately, in spite of having The Best onion rings I 've ever had in my life, I won 't be returning here any time soon. I walked in with my dad, my brother and my girlfriend the very same day we first arrived in town. We had just driven for five days straight from California, unloaded the pets and the trailer, and we were all ready for a chill meal and good beer. We walked in, sat down, and were immediately accosted by some old codger who had clearly been there drinking all day and was desperately in need of a glass of water and some bread, who was apparently offended that we were wearing masks in the middle of a pandemic. No comment from the waitress. But she apparently had something to say about our California IDs, when she took them behind the counter and exclaimed in a very loud whisper: California?! What the f are they doing here?!?! Like we wouldn 't hear that. The only reason I 'm giving Vin 's two stars instead of one is those onion rings. Completely homemade, and ****, were they amazing. Not good enough to get me back in there, though. Even with the convenient distance. Oh well, we 'll just be having our drinks down at The Place, instead! :

The atmosphere, the people and the food is great. The Staff friendly and did I mention the food ? Well it's great !
