What TheFatelessHero doesn't like about Cave Of The Winds Snack:
An alright place to snack.A bit pricy cause all that has to do with tourists has that mark up. But it was not too bad here.Mom asked if they had salads here. The cashier had no idea that such word even existed. It is alright though, understandable.Outdoors sitting area was kind of swarming with yellow jackets. Kind of annoying. View all feedback.
It is excellent for what it is meant to be. It is connected to a gift shop, ordering is done via kiosk and there is a large area to wait that is climate controlled. The food itself is good with the price in the normal range for a snack bar. If you order thepizza logs with fries, note you actually get four but they are small, so it is great for sharing. A couple really importantthings to remember to set expectations: This is a snack bar, not a restaurant. Think of what you would get at a small townlocal high school football game or community park It is meant as a convenience for those who are hungry or just want to warmup. The prices are normal but high compared to local fast food however there are no fees to get into the park and someone hadto transport the food to the top of the water fall There is a restaurant nearby if you prefer a sit down eating experience
Look, you know the food is going to cost a bunch because you're literally right by the falls. But honestly when I was in desperate need of chicken fingers, chicken fingers they had. And they were good.
Fries were good but to expensive, my mistake for buying
We bought a hot chocolate for $4/cup expecting a cup of ready-made hot chocolate instead the women behind the counter handed me a paper cup with a hot chocolate powder packet which probably cost them less than 50 cents!
Expensive, but taste okay. If you're hungry, come here. There few choices around this world class touristic place.
