I went to this restaurant today and i love it. The food was so good i got the avocado sandwich with smoked salmon. I also got onion rings and they were so crispy and crunchy. What Tessa Demir doesn't like about Prince Tea House:
Subpar tea and mediocre desserts. There were bugs flying around us landing on our food and drinks. Service is not good. Only redeemable aspect is the atmosphere and cute seating. Just not worth the money—there are plenty of other options if you want good tea. View all feedback.
My friends and I came here as a party of 3 and when we first entered, the waiter seemed annoyed to even seat us at our table as he was on his lunch break since no other employees were to be seen at the time. We sat at the back area and when our food arrived, we wanted to switch our plates after the first dish, but there were no employees around. We kept on waiting to see if anyone came to service us, but no one did so we had to be the ones to get up from our seats and to approach an employee for service. At the end when we got our receipt, we noticed that it had already included 18% tip in the total and had no option to choose a different percentage or to add a custom tip. Again, no one came to service us to take our card, so we had to walk up to the employees and the register ourselves to pay. We asked to change the tip to a custom tip and the waitress said “We were told to charge students tip.” We were shocked and confused and asked why and she responded that “Students don’t tip.” This seems very unprofessional and rude for a business to assume that based on our appearance that we are students and that we were not going to tip when we asked to add a custom tip instead. I am also in fact not a student. ?Overall, there was not much service when the employees were not very attentive to us and we had to approach them physically from our table every time we needed something and definitely DOES NOT deserve an 18% tip.

So cute here! It was kind of warm in the covered outdoor eating area but very nice. Service was also good.
There must have been a change in management. Non of the faces look familiar at all. The service was horrible. My tea took 30 minutes to come out. It ended up tasting funny for the first time out of all the times I've been here. I asked the waiter to smell it, and he brought it back to the kitchen. They finally brought out another kettle after 20 minutes. It had the same hint of bleach. I sent it back and asked for a cup of water instead. When the check came, I was still charged for the tea (which was only $9.00 out of my $90.00 check, but this is not about the money) When I asked them about it, they said since they made it twice, there was no way to take it off. They just lost 4 customers. I will never visit this location again.
