great back up deli when my other delis a little closer to my house don't have a cook. love the chop cheese here. would def get anything else and even for delivery- they got great tacos and usually if you're a local they'll deliver beer too. very well made sandwiches here though View all feedback.
What Rafael Carbuccia doesn't like about Presbyterian Deli:
Worst service ever. I asked for specialty sandwiches and got nothing like it. Lettuce on chicken parm. Lettuce on steak and cheese. And got no cheese. Horrible. And asked for no onions. And got onions. View all feedback.
The guy that works in the deli in the morning is super nice!!! the older man that works the front in the morning is very nice as well. Today was a different story. I’m a regular customer, I’m in there mon-fri spending my hard earned money. When the older man isn’t there they put a younger one there to do the job and I’m sorry he is rude and can’t make coffee right at all and gets angry when you inform him. I have to ask him what he did to the coffee that it taste so bitter? This morning he got upset because I brought my coffee back asking for sugar. If you don’t like your job find another one!!!! A lot of ppl I know from the area says he is always rude like that always. When you spending your money you shouldn’t have to deal with horrible customer service. I wonder who owns this store!!!!
Everything is overpriced on top of that you have the covid special where you have to pay $1 more.A pack of Oreo cookies $9.00
Not a bad deli. Sometimes very busy. It gets the job done when needed.

Pros Above average number of items available They care somewhat about how the store looks It feels safe here. Cops always in here for food. The non food bodega items are average priced Cons Most cashiers are really more focused on taking phone orders than anything. The two guy cashiers are ok or dead inside, the older woman is kind, and the younger lady in her early 20s is overtly rude Things are def better here if you speak Spanish You never know which items will be in stock from week to week Various cooks mean some prepare better food than others You really feel that 'We don 't give a flip here. Take it or leave it '. Pricing discrepancy? Tough sh*t. Received something different than menu online. Tough sh*t. Worse thing they charge a mysterious debit/credit card fee. Sometimes a cashier will add on a buck instantly or another will use a calculator. Receipt does not show it and doesn 't list cost of items either. That is annoying cause you will get charged different prices often depending on cashier.
