After visiting once several years ago, I expected it to be crowded with no seating available. To my delight, it was a lot less crowded and quite chill. My kind of coffee shop. I sat at the bar with my book and ordered a regular drip coffee, which was the perfect blend of medium and bold and very much to my liking. The staff (at least the ones today) could be friendlier. Ok so the food, the drinks, the vibe, and the one attendant was so good!!! The Mac and cheese and chili combo was amazing and their iced tea was BOMB! The other employees weren’t really friendly and not exactly a good vibe for the place. It’s so cute and they have plenary of outlets for doing homework or just hangout places. It is a $5 minimum for using your card but spend it on their delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Nice atmosphere. Quiet. Decent amount of seating and enjoy that they have a community table. Coffee was good. Food was great! Everyone was nice. Great for a quick bite or to sit and work. Prices are standard for both food and drink.
The best baristas and even better food. The atmosphere is a perfect balance between solitary and friendly. I often come here for breakfast and lunch. Definitely a great place to have lunch with a friend or bust out a project. Always great music selection and they’re always happy to customize an order.
This is a great spot for coffee or a light lunch. A large interior space generally has seating though you may be sharing a table with one of the people setting up shop for the day to work. A lot of laptops seems odd for 2017. That said, there is a great backyard and they allow dogs in it (not inside). Ambiance is Rustic Brooklyn. The coffee is delicious, whether drip or espresso based. The pastries are not made on site, but in the morning are still fresh enough to snarf one down. I LOVE their goat cheese, roasted pepper and arugula sandwich. Not the most inventive per se, but it tastes very fresh. They are always out of Hummus : One thing they could do better is deal with their compost bin. I like the idea, but when it is overflowing by the entrance of the backyard, it is unappealing. Also could they find a better use for extra bread??
Great place to do work and grab food! The lox and bagel was amazing and fresh. The vibe was very cozy and the staff were upbeat! There is a garden in the back but was closed for winter. Would go back!
