The Bagels are fresh and they have the perfect ratio of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Good selection of cream cheeses and other options (eggs etc. . Great value and no other bagel place comes close on the area. View all feedback.
What Noam B doesn't like about Market Cafe Brick Oven Pizzeria:
food is simple but generally fresh and decent. The ordering experience at the counters is often very unpleasent: they get impatient and aggressive if you ask questions or try to modify around the standard menu View all feedback.
This place was our favorite breakfast spot in NYC. From the coffee to the breakfast platters it was delicious! The prices are very fair as well. If I lived here this would be my go-to most mornings!
Decent bagels for a decent price. Gets the job done doesn't leave you hungry or feeling like something was missing. Was it the best-out of this world-to die for bagel I've had? No. Was it the worst bagel I've had? Not at all. Solid in size, texture, flavor, it absolutely hit the spot. The quality of chicken salad was good. So many bagel places have chunky cubed chicken salad which I hate, this one had great consistency flavor. French fries were also decent; not soggy, not too crispy, a good portion. The only thing that was a disappointment was the iced coffee. Yuck. Tasted burnt, stale, almost like a bran cereal. But, I didn't pick this place for it's coffee, so- 4 stars for the bagel chicken salad. 1.5 stars for the iced coffee.
I've been a huge fan of bagels ever since I discovered them as a thing when I first moved to New York in 2017 and I've been to over 50 different bagel places. This one is #1 on my list, conveniently located right by my house. Not only their bagels, but the entire variety of food is something to always look forward to for me. I've had it all: burgers, wraps, breakfast food, all kinds of coffee and juices always impeccably fresh and toasted, made with love. Although, my heart of course belongs to the cream cheese and lox bagel with tomatoes and onions. I came in and got delivery numerous times. The staff is always friendly and absolutely amazing, very caring, yet quick and efficient. Great food prepared and served with love and quickly what more could one want in a busy city?
Looking for a quick breakfast and coffee and stumbled past this place. The food was good but the service was terrible at the front end. The two cashiers were rude and were saying no to everything. All I wanted was extra cream and a straw and they were irritated to go out of their way. Any customer asking for anything extra, etc... was too much for them. These two ladies are a reason people would not go back. Find friendlier cashiers if you want to keep customers.
My husband and I both loved our bagels from here- Turkey sausage was good and not spicy, bagels were perfectly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. Fast service on a busy weekday morning.
