Buttermilk - City of New York

We’ve purchased all of our kids birthday cakes from a buttermilk. They are amazing! The cakes are delicious works of art. My newly 5 year old drew a picture of what she wanted her cake to look like this year. They NAILED it! Can’t wait for our next order. Buttermilk Bakeshop made the cake for my baby shower and it was the highlight of the party. We had a short conversation over email about what I was looking for and I sent them the invitation for inspiration and they created a true work of art. Even more importantly, it was delicious! Everyone commented on how it tasted as great as it looked, and I’m so glad I still have some in my fridge. Will definitely use them the next time I need a cake!

We asked for a custom cake for our daughter's 1st birthday and shared a picture of what I was looking for. They did such an amazing job! The inside was a rainbow cake and perfect for our sun themed party.

Great cakes, lovely staff. I have done multiple birthday cakes in the last couple of years. The team at the bakeshop communicates well and efficiently via email (cake design, final view, payment). Everything is ready on time.

Love this place and pick up a small selection of baked goods from here about once a week! The chocolate cake in a jar is my absolute favorite. I also love getting the cake of the day slice, the cookies, and the bars. Had the raspberry pop-tart recently (pictured) and it was amazing! Have never had a bad experience in anyway here.
