Solid food though our spicy wontons tasted like franks red hot sauce, awkward staff, and the crowd was a mess with plates breaking and issues galore. That being said it is right off times square and it isn't horrifically overpriced. Salt and peppery squid was tasty, beef pho was great, shrimp vermicelli was also good. View all feedback.
What h doesn't like about An'nam:
I had the woo woo drink which was very sweet but really good, and I also had the BBQ pork buns, which could've used more BBQ pork, but the flavor was good. The monkey roll offered a combo I've never had before qith the mango, but it worked. Then I got sick. I'm not sure what it was that made me sick, but I won't be returning. View all feedback.
I'm skeptical of places with huge pan-Asian menus, but the pork and preserved egg congee and sauteed pea shoots were delicious. Service is super fast so it's great for a quick pre-theater meal. The outdoor seating area is kind of hot and stuffy though.
The experience was decent, but not exceptional. The Thai restaurant I intended to visit had shut down. However, the Thai iced tea was delightful! Unfortunately, the Pad Thai didn't meet my expectations. I think I'll try something different on my next visit.
I would give this restaurant negative if I could. I have had the worst pho ever. The broth was awful and meat was some thin slices of greasy beef. This restaurant has definitely nothing to do with Vietnamese food. My partner told me that his cashew chicken tastes Chinese food and it was bad too. Well, this restaurant is bigger and nicer than some another Asian restaurants I’ve been in New York but you go to restaurants to enjoy food don’t you?
I was skeptical at first while ordering but upon order received one of the best rice dishes I've ever had in my life. It was probably my favorite of all the restaurants we visited this trip. All of our food (3 people) was amazing. We'll definitely return if we're in the same area next time.
We enjoyed everything about our experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Our order was delivered quickly. The restaurant is conveniently located near Times Square, and it was also very clean.
