Listed as one of the 10 oldest resto in the metro. Been attempting to locate/ eat here, finally the chance came. Sooo excited!!!!It's near the Caloocan city hall . You have to ask a trycicle driver because it's hidden in one of the side streets. The place do not exactly resemble a very old place, I believe it had some facelift . Except for a nice, thick old narra entrance door. Cantonese settlers in the philippines are not only the best cooks, they also make the best narra furniture in the olden times. We ordered hotsour soup , beef ampalaya, and fried chicken. The cooking is actually authentic for an everyday chinese cooking/ chinese meal. The beef ampalaya had minsi and I like it , much better than tausi . The fried chicken was served hot with the sweet sour type dipping sauce. The best way to eat my kind of fried chicken. I'm attaching the menu for a better overview of the food served. . Food is good though you find it elsewhere. But worth the trip also for the novelty of being in one of the oldest. Ps, they cater too.
We love the sisig
