What Tottenham1980 doesn't like about Papaya:
Absolute rubbish, nearly as bad as Calcutta Street around the corner. They actually had the cheek to charge me for this mush of what is titled Sweet and Sour Chicken. Save yourself the stomach upset and money and avoid at all cost, run to tesco over the road and get a sandwich!!!!!!!! View all feedback. What CatW foodie likes about Papaya:
Been here a couple of times and I always get the prawn noodle tom yum soup. It’s large, filling and super tasty. They cook the prawns fresh so there’s a little wait for them to prepare it, but so worth it. Service with a smile and good food View all feedback.

read morePapaya, nestled in the bustling Soho area, offers a charming escape with its affordable and flavorful Thai-inspired cuisine. While the restaurant is known for its generous portions, customers have encountered some inconsistencies, particularly with the quality of chicken dishes and greasy rice on occasion. Nevertheless, the prawn noodle tom yum soup garners particular praise for its freshness and taste. Amid concerns about excessive plastic bag usage and the discomfort of onion chopping during service, the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it a solid lunchtime choice for deliciously filling meals at a bargain price.
