Been here a couple of times and I always get the prawn noodle tom yum soup. It’s large, filling and super tasty. They cook the prawns fresh so there’s a little wait for them to prepare it, but so worth it. Service with a smile and good food View all feedback.
What Tottenham1980 doesn't like about Papaya:
Absolute rubbish, nearly as bad as Calcutta Street around the corner. They actually had the cheek to charge me for this mush of what is titled Sweet and Sour Chicken. Save yourself the stomach upset and money and avoid at all cost, run to tesco over the road and get a sandwich!!!!!!!! View all feedback.
The rugged are as seductive as the prices at papaya. both were noticed by other waiting snakes at this busy Soho-Lunch stop, which usually offers Thai dishes. but then accidental dinge, like sushi and dimsum. what? I have the red curry chicken and the cashew nut chicken on white rice. unfortunately my favorite part of the lunch of the rice. the slices of the chicken were dry and the curry sauce was completely washed up by the rice. I guess the cashew nuts ransom was better, but the previously roasted chicken bites reminded of freezing. I have enjoyed the sauce here, aromen are beautiful and familiar. it was a creepy eating that my white hemd survived, but unfortunately my impression of papaya did not. Nevertheless, it's terribly nice to have a cheap lunch option and the queuing could recommend that they might have better luck with some of the other options.
Are they still open during the lockdown? I'm pregnant and I'm looking for red curry cow with rice. plss answer
Went in, picked my food to take out and left within a couple of minutes. Food was fresh and very tasty. Huge portions for £5 lunchbox deal, friendly staff too. Would recommend Chilli chicken and the panang!
Great portion, very yummy. It is a tiny eatery with some tables but it is a good choice for take away. Lunchtime can be very busy but the service is quick.
