Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Passport Office. Pleasantly surprised. Wonderful friendly service. We ate the Fish and Chips and have to say they were very good which is often difficult to find in a London pub. Would definitely revisit when next in the area. View all feedback.
What Nathan Eaton doesn't like about Duke Of Wellington:
This restaurant is a great place to hear interesting stories. During our visit, we met a man named Dave who used to make pork pies nearby and had owned several pubs in the past. He also had a collection of boats in San Francisco and other locations, a 34-year-old French/Belgian wife (despite being around 70 years old), and was missing several teeth. But despite all of this, he was still a fascinating character. View all feedback.
A charming, simple and friendly pub with a fine selection of beers both sharp and casual. service is bright and cheerful. the same name is celebrated here with pictures that decorate the walls and a kamin, perhaps similar to those when his violin was sent. the rest, as they say, is history. a pretty pub after pop for a drink or two.
Sloane square £6.05 moretti a welcoming traditional pub with a great local feel. that was my second pub on a streak around the southern end of belgravia and definitiw my favorit. this pub is the complete package and delivers to every aspekt, which makes a pub great. the building is a simple elegant corner from the 19th century, which under the beautiful Victorian properties as a line of the surrounding streets. in the interior is a central horseshoe bar with cheerful traditional decoration and a very lively pub carpet I have never seen before. there are a few of wellington’s replica boots over the bar that inspired the locals to rename the pub “The duke of Boots”. the choice of the beer here is excellent, the pub offers five cask options. I had a moretti because I was a beekeeper who was a decently well kept pint and a little above average price. the pub has a popular, inexpensive British classic menu, fish chips will be back just over £13. the service here is excellent, there were two French who ensured that everyone was well looked after and looked after. the atmosphere here was great, there was a mix of couples who enjoy lunch, a larger group with the craic and in the corner of the pubs there was a group of older men who discussed everything from boris and his political position to Australian lockdown rules, nothing was except thema. the true test of a big pub is how the local community will support it in reaction to what a pub offers them. the @dukesw1w offers a great pub experience that is full of character and character, great beer and eat. when you visit the kings Road/Sloane square area, take a drink or a bit dug at this wonderful @shepherneame pub. informations correct to visit 29/01/22
Authentic chelsea pub reben. very cozy and a nice place to drink alone or with some friends.
Excellent traditional pub with high quality genuine ale. After we were on the kings road while chelsea in blossom, we found the wellington and when we entered, I finally said a traditional pub,' said the young man behind the bar: "They must have come out of the kings road."
Very welcoming pub and staff. Highly recommended for a Xmas drink without a booking.
