Good service. Garlic bread was too cold and bread was not soft. Doesn't have much taste. Veg balls Pasta was beautiful and sea bass with roasted potatoes tasted really delicious. Cafe latte was standard and got Biscotti (Italian cookies) was tasteless. Overall the food I wouldn't say is wow or amazing, but ok for a pleasant lunch. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is friendly. In any case, would go again. View all feedback.
What Charlie Wright doesn't like about Carluccio's:
It is very bad place!!! I ordered mushroom soup they brought me water with mushroom pieces in it. It has no taste or texture this was a shame. The ravioli was no better at all so basically I had just a good lemonade to drink. Staff were cold and not interactive they did not care when I said I did not like the soup! Additionally, it took ages to bring the pasta although there were few customer. I will not go back to t... View all feedback.
The vegetarian friendly primavera was taken to the next level with toasted almonds. Reading a book on their patio for a late lunch was absolutely lovely. AND craft Italian beer!
Fantastic place very friendly and accommodating. They took in our group of 12 after our reserved bar down the road turned us down because we had a baby(! with us! (Bearing in my mind we booked that place for Christening buffet . All in small top place and highly recommend.
If you have to eat in London. This is the ONLY!!!!!! place to eat. My husband and I live in North London and we will only eat at this Carluccio's.We have been eating here for at least 3 years. out of all of their branches this is the top TOP CLASS ONE, we won't eat anywhere else. If we could give them 20 we would. The staff are amazing from the manager right down to the cooks. The portions are brilliant as without saying is the food!!!! We have never been disappointed at this branch. We cannot stop raving about Paddington street Carluccios really really . YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU GET HERE AMAZINGLY GREAT FOOD.
Good service. Garlic bread was too cheesy and bread was not soft. Didn't have much taste. Veg balls pasta was nice and sea bass with roasted potatoes tasted really yummy. Cafe latte was standard and got biscotti (Italian biscuits) was tasted ok. Overall the food I wouldn't say is wow or amazing but ok for a pleasant lunch. The restaurant is spacious and staff are friendly. Definitely would go again.
A lovely modern yet cozy Italian restaurant just off the high street in Marylebone. Has a smallish but tasty menu, but curiously does not offer pizza. Part of a chain. I have dined at another location in Dublin, which was similarly nice. The front of the restaurant has a small pantry like area where you can purchase food such as condiments, and pasta. There is seating outside for about 10 or so people. Tip: This place serves breakfast! I will need to come back to check it out.
