Called in before the start of our Christmas shopping trip for some tea/coffee. Most of the seating is downstairs and there are a selection of sofas and chairs which gives it a homely feel. You know what you are getting at cafe Nero and this branch did not disappoint. View all feedback.
What laura6833 doesn't like about Caffe Nero:
The store is very nice but I asked the barista twice to put in my drink some sugar but every time he was saying to go to the condiment unit even if I asked expressly for the syrup. I asked then for my other drink to be warm but was very hot. View all feedback.
I usually have positive reviews, but my experience at Cafe Nero was disappointing. The coffee was overcooked and the food had a strong baking soda flavor, making it inedible. I tried to inform the staff, but they were too busy to address the issue. It's a shame that Farmer J, just a few blocks away, is a better alternative.
Conveniently located near Oxford Circus tube station.
I was impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. However, I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. I specifically requested soya milk in my caffe mocha due to my lactose intolerance, but the staff made it with whole milk instead. I know this because I have been drinking soya milk coffee for years to avoid lactose issues. As a result, I had to make two trips to the restroom due to a reaction caused by the whole milk in the mocha. The staff member seemed distracted and had to double-check multiple times to confirm the soya milk request, even though there was none available. Unfortunately, this mistake ruined my birthday celebration. Thank you for that.
Pretty decent place The tables are not properly cleaned for newer customers though. That's a shame. Toilet code -412
Try the luxury caramel latte. It's fab! Didn't have marshmallows on the day I went though :
