This is a great restaurant here in Springvale. There's ample parking and provided free if you are dining in. You need to inform them and they will let you have a ticket for your parking.Food is delicious and very typical Hong Kong Chinese style.Prices are reasonable and the dining hall is spacious so there always room even without a booking. One of the better and lesser known good food joints here in Springvale. What User doesn't like about Maxim Saigan Restaurant:
Went here for lunch with a friend and our 2 kids. Most of the many staff were very friendly. We were seated quickly and offered food from the trolleys. Nice food but definitely nothing special unfortunately. I would go again if I had too but honestly would rather spend my money elsewhere as this is one of the more expensive restaurants in Springvale. I'm guessing people go here mainly for the atmosphere at night. View all feedback.
We used to frequent this restaurant often, but due to Covid we decided to dine in. We have always loved their Yum Cha, so we chose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary there. What a disappointment. The food tasted like it was mass-produced, especially the pork dishes. We ordered Prawn Dumplings, which were filled with a mixture of pork and beef, and the Oyster Mornay was also filled with pork and beef, overpowering the taste of the oyster and sauce.
It could be 30 minutes under Dandenong Rd, but this place was just delicious. The dumplings are very nom, nom and also huge! Authentic feeling place, just like Asia. Super busy, loud and really good at the wallet.
Visits for an event. The service was good and the food was well prepared. The food is mainly Chinese. There's a dance floor and a stage.
Not bad yum cha. The options were missing a lot of choice compared to other Yum Cha I had. It was okay, I guess.
First time having a meal at this place. Had Yum-cha with family. The place is quiet compare to other restaurants in Springvale despite being a Saturday afternoon. Staffs are generally friendly and happy to serve your table (not sure if it is because that it...is quiet that the staffs wanted to do something useful to pass time). A variety of normal Yum-Cha dishes available. Taste of most of them is reasonable or average in nature. The good thing about the place is that is it quiet and does not need booking for meals. My family still booked ahead though before arriving (in case it is busy). Table service is more personalize given that the place is quieter that the staffs in general have more time to serve you. Place is reasonably clean and spaced in between seats. Although some staffs still hit your chair occasionally with their food trolley for the Yum-Cha. Overall, a reasonable place for Yum-Cha. Much quieter than the nearby Gold Leaf. No need bookings in general. An option place for Yum-Cha.
