I want to cry just thinking about how delicious the black-out cookie, strong coffee and fried fingerlings side are. The place is adorable and has great grocery basics as well as fun products, great service and great outdoor seating! View all feedback.
What Leighton Smith doesn't like about Kitty's Market:
Visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning in late August. Had a reasonably tasty breakfast sandwich here. The sauerkraut is an interesting touch. Not sure I?d go for the sauerkraut again, though. Also had some potatoes because the hash browns were notavailable. Service wasn?t especially quick but it wasn?t bad. Limited outdoor seating. Interesting selection of other food itemsavailable. Decent range of local beers... View all feedback.
This place is great! The Rotisserie Chicken was good and juicy. Plus they have a really nice backyard setup to relax and eat outdoors.
A food article boasts its one of the best breakfast sandwiches in Hudson Valley. False. This was more of a meal outta grade school than a culinary treat. Hashbrowns were unpleasant grease balls. Theyve got nice garden seating, but watch for loudconstruction nearby.
Went for dinner with their new menu. The food tasted great but was honestly way overpriced. We were told at the beginning of the meal that the restaurant encouraged “family style” dining, but the dishes were too small for the five of us to share we got the snack plate and it had one slice of bread. Also they weirdly didn’t have any serving utensils? They brought us regular, small spoons to try to dish up salad and fish. Overall, two entrees and four apps was around $65 each, and left all of us feeling hungry.
Kitty's is a delightful surprise outside of the Hudson train station across the street. I'm surprised it's not more packed. They offer a bunch of food for takeout but we came for the roasted/ rotisserie chicken and sides ? Can say it rivals some of the best Peruvian chicken I've tasted and thier coleslaw salad is a knockout. Super affordable and great place for a date or groups with plenty of seating inside and out!
Such a bummer! Was excited to try the chicken and sides (the only things on the menu) but after ordering at the counter and waiting 25 minutes we were unapologetically informed it would still be another 30 minutes minimum for food. Appearing as a grab and go fast casual style spot this was obviously surprising and many people had to wait in line again for refunds since they had to catch trains/parking meters. We did not end up getting the food after spending over 30 minutes standing there.
