the cafe had only few people in it and I was told I would have to wait at least an hour for an avocado toast because they had too much to do… usually like this place, but things like this make me not want to come back again View all feedback.
This is where you go for coffee. We tried perfect day cafe based on the 4.9 reviews. We had one sip and walked down the street to Early Bird Cafe and ordered a replacement. I’ve tried them side by side and Early bird is the clear winner, a bright but balanced espresso perfectly pulled. You don’t need to read another review if you’re in Frenchtown get your coffee here.
The young lady behind the counter seemed like she hated her job
Best espresso pull between Philly and New York. I'll be back to check the consistency. Pastries we're good too. And vibe, which is difficult in a tourist town. Edit 2023, consistent and great, through the pandemic and since. Never a bad shot, or a less-than 5-star experience.
This is the real deal! They make a true cappuccino here. They even weigh the coffee to make every cup just right. We tried several other local spots and this one is absolutely the BEST!
Everything you could ask for in a local coffee place: very good coffee, freshly made pastries, genuine friendly staff, charming setting. Not industrial. Generally not crowded.
