The Dark Horse IS Cortland. I don't know much about Cortland.. but I know every college kid goes here at one point during the night. The Dark Horse offers two separate types of environments in one place.... The downstairs is low key (peaceful) and the upstairs is a club (jungle). Whatever you're into, you can find it here. Driving home from Rochester and wanted to get off the interstate, have lunch, and stretch our legs a bit. This was a pretty good call and a pure YELP find. A true college bar and restaurant in a cute small college town. We sat at the bar instead of a table. The town was still sleepy on a warm February Sunday and the crowd was small. Hundreds of people packed together like sardines. Garbage and spilled beer everywhere.
Used to be the best college bar, now everyone gets in... Literally.
Been going there for years. Great atmosphere, beer selection. Good bar food and you can order from restaurant next door.
First time coming back since last semester. As soon as i settled with the boys at the table, we feel eyes on us from bouncer/ security. They made it pretty obvious that we weren't welcomed. Within 30 min a bouncer comes up to us saying we need to leave because we put our masks under our chins (while having drinks in our hands), meanwhile we have been sitting at the same exact location and keeping distance throughout the night. One of the bouncers name is Kevin.... Racist MFsThis aint no pulling the racist card on someone, those people in that bar is full on 100% racist MFS. Rather take the party to Red Jugg...
