East Side Bakery - City of Cortland

Since I first moved to Cortland at the age of 8, I have always adored the chocolate chip cookies and brownies from this bakery. I remember searching for spare change just so I could walk there and treat myself to a cookie. I still indulge in them occasionally, and the recipe hasn’t changed a bit. I truly love that consistency!

Everything at this restaurant is fantastic. You can't go wrong with their desserts, pizza, or wings. I recently tried the medium Stromboli, and it was massive—about the size of half a pizza box—and absolutely delicious! The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming. Just a reminder: be sure to bring cash or a check when you visit!

A hidden gem! The white garlic, spinach, and feta pizza was simply amazing! The pastries we bought were fresh, indulgent, and absolutely delicious! It was a perfect refuge for two tired Canadians heading back to the snow and cold. We'll definitely return on our next trip! Thank you, Tim and the staff!

I was so excited by the yummy food and cheap prices I forgot to take pictures! Definitely a spot to go for a treat! Everything smelled so good. We got an eclair, an apple turnover, a lemon cookie and a half moon. It's been a challenge not to devour it all in one sitting. I look forward to coming back to try their homemade breakfast sausage!
