When in this town and looking to eat in the evening, the restaurants do not really open for business until about 8pm. The area is famed for its meat, and a lot of the restaurants will only serve meat e.g, steak (huge) lots of different flavour of sausage, chops and the only accompaniments are potatoes or Salad. Delicious mixed Bombette, a speciality from Cisternino, best eaten in a cozy little place like this one! Also very recommended the roasted potatoes from the grill! Very friendly service and atmosphere

This place served the biggest steaks I have ever seen in Europe. Great value for money, you can even go inside and pick the steak you want. Make sure you are hungry. One order of The salad and potatoes will feed two or three people.
