The Thames Head Inn - Cirencester

We dined here several times and enjoyed each meal. The menu offers a great variety of dishes that are well-prepared and delicious. Additionally, there's a nice outdoor area that is perfect for summer days and active children.

We had a very comfortable stay at this inn. We were in one of the few quiet rooms, which made for a peaceful experience. The bathroom had been recently updated, and my partner really enjoyed the deep bathtub, although there wasn't a traditional shower. The pub was outstanding; we had the steak and kidneys as well as a lasagna, both of which were excellent. Our neighbors mentioned that they visit by car about twice a year, as it’s one of their favorite stops. The inn is located a few miles from the city, so it's not convenient for walking.

Despite being very busy on a Friday afternoon, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. Although we had to wait a bit for our food, it was definitely worth it. The dishes were beautifully presented and prepared to a high standard. Overall, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff and hostess maintained a quiet professionalism throughout our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant.
