We called a head to check if they had any Sunday roast available, they confirmed they had three so we said great we are on our way. We drove 40 mins only to be told they had sold those and now only had over priced sandwiches (which were the equivalent of a tesco meal deal). No acknowledgment from the staff just a this is all we have. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
We visited the Daneway today for a Sunday lunch, and I must say, the warm welcome we received from the friendly bar staff and the owners was delightful. Now, about the food—wow! It was absolutely incredible! This was by far the best roast I've had in a long time. The portions were generous, and everything was flavorful and served piping hot. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much!

The logical conclusion to a glorious 2 hour walk along the canal from Brimscombe. A great family pub with tasty food, great cider, a cosy traditional pub feel with outdoor seating, too a great 'final stop ' to refresh after a long walk filled with beauty.
Lovely small pub near to Sapperton, great walks in the area. Visited for Sunday lunch, booking advised, and were very happy with both our meals and also the swift and considerate service from the delightful staff. Dog friendly too. We will return without a doubt.
Lovely food,great service,amazing views in the beer garden for summer. Top place to go for a typical English pub dinner! X
