Description

Uncle Yips, a family-run establishment celebrated for its dim sum, presents a dining experience that varies widely among patrons. While some visitors rave about the authentic flavors of dishes like ha gow and lo mai gai, others have encountered challenges with cleanliness and food consistency. Service is generally noted as friendly, enhancing the atmosphere despite complaints regarding disorganization. Favorites such as Cantonese-style tofu and unique Japanese offerings have garnered mixed reviews. Ultimately, while the potential for delightful meals exists, newcomers should be prepared for inconsistency in both food quality and presentation.

The fried rice had no flavor whatsoever.. and they don’t make it spicy. The spicy sizzling chicken tastes too much like cumin.. I will not be returning..

Always a delight to eat here! The owner and staff are so friendly, and it's by far the best dim sum in Cincinnati. I prefer in person on the weekends to get dim sum from the carts, but the food is also good when delivered!

As a Chinese person, I really appreciate good dim sum and Uncle Yips is awesome! We went for an early dinner around 4pm because I had my 2 littles with me and it was perfect. The ha gaw, sui mai, lo mai gai and seasame balls were all very fresh and tasted very authentic. To be honest I didn't even want the seasame balls but my husband made me order them and they were truly something special. It is a bit pricey as for 2 adults and 2 kids, it was just over $100 but well worth it.

The service was great they were super friendly when i picked it up but this was the nastiest food I've eaten in a while. We ordered the same thing but as you can see they look totally different. It's supposed to be pork lo-mein but I would bet money it's not. Look at the meat it taste like it looks. Oh and see the hair in the lid part of the 1 pic.. I'm disappointed cuz I spent 28.69 on food nobody would eat. The crabrangoo was good though but the sauce that came with it taste like soap water. It was my lunch break and now I'm just out of 30 bucks and I'm even hungrier cuz I ate the 1 crabrangoo that was mine and that's all.. I don't know what was going on in there tonight but if rhis is their normal hiw are they still open ?
