Family dinner with the parents. We were bummed they no longer offer the fig manhattans we loved, but the drinks we ordered were made well. For entrees we had the chicken, salmon, and steak—all very good. Our server seemed to be having an off night, but overall great place.
This was our 4th time at Embers! We chose this place because we have always had such a good experience there. We came with two dear friends of ours whom we had not seen in quite sometime. The ambiance was good giving us an opportunity to catch up. It would have been great had the table next to us not been so loud. The spring rolls and sushi , the salads and the desserts were amazing. The entrees were really disappointing. My husband had the pork chop and I had the filet. It seemed that neither of the meats had been properly seasoned so there was little to no flavor. My filet was quite chewy and dry to the point I left most of it on the plate. The presentation of the filet left much to be desired. However, the highlight of our dinner was our server Penelope. She was efficient, informative and attentive. She was an absolute delight! For $100+ per person, our expectations of the meal were not met. If we have an opportunity to come again, we'll stick to appetizers and salads and forgo the entree!
We started with the rotisserie chicken spring rolls and the crab cake, both tasted spectacular. I got the southern style baby back ribs and Mac n cheese as my entree, and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything tasted incredible, the atmosphere was extremely soothing and warm, but what I want to celebrate the most was definitely the service. All of the servers explain the menu really effectively regarding the sushi and the steak (which my father enjoyed), they have fantastic recommendations, and I noticed that all of them were very attentive and really cared about you enjoying the food and having a good night. Special thanks to our server, Nick, easily the best server I've ever had! I hope you enjoyed the drawing!
Upscale without being stuffy. Prices are med hi but the service and food quality are always good.
My husband and I went for my birthday dinner, this place is amazing. We are from Cleveland so this was new and fresh for our eyes and bellies! Justin made our experience absolutely worth it! Everything was exceptional! We had the Kobe roll to start off, and the filet and king crab for our entree. Highly recommend!
