I've been really into croissants lately, so Brown Bear Bakery was high on my list of places to try. A little tip: check out their Instagram to see the special items they offer for the week. I'm a real chocolate chip cookie enthusiast, and theirs was fantastic! The light touch of salt really balanced the sweetness. The peanut butter chocolate croissant was also delicious, but I think it was a special item, so I'm hoping it returns! They have a variety of other treats to choose from, including savory options for those who want the best of both worlds. The bakery itself was quaint, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. You can tell they take pride in their homemade goods, and I will definitely be returning!

The next morning, I returned at 11 AM, only to find them sold out and the doors locked. At that point, I was quite frustrated. However, I ended up going to O Pie O and indulged in the most decadent chocolate cake, which made up for it! If you plan to visit Brown Bear, I recommend going before 10 AM.

We stopped at this place before we leave cincinnati after we stay there for us. this place is a jewel. this place is an O-my-god bakery where you want to buy and taste everything. I bought some sweet baked and salty croissants for the street. it was so delicious. a real taste of france for us because the croissant teig was made as perfect as if they can find it in france. the personal was so friendly and welcoming to definitiw a five star spot.
