This local spot in Greenhills can be hit or miss. They offer free pool on Wednesdays, but there are usually issues when a bar has three pool tables.
I believe Back Door Saloon should be cut some slack for being a locally owned and operated pub in Greenhills, Ohio. However, as reviewers, it's our duty to provide clear and concise information for others seeking recommendations on nightlife, food, and shopping. The pub is located in the Greenhills Shopping Center, and you can either park in the front and walk down the steps or park at the back near the bar. When you enter, you'll be greeted by locals who know each other well. The atmosphere is lighter in the front and darker towards the back, where you'll find pool tables, Golden Tee golf, and a small dance floor. The bar has a mix of newer and older TVs, but they still offer a cozy spot to enjoy drinks. Back Door Saloon also has an outdoor patio for spring and summer. Overall, it's a great spot for a cold brew and a relaxing time. Just remember to check in with your spouse now and then.
This is a local bar in the neighborhood where I live, Greenhills, but it deserves some recognition during football season for their Bengals Sunday tradition. During each Bengals game on TV, the regulars and staff at the bar bring in homemade dishes to share with whoever comes in. I've enjoyed chili, brats, mac and cheese, and wings while watching games in the past, and now I find myself drawn there every time I hear a referee's whistle. There's no pressure to participate, but after a few visits, you may feel inspired to bring in your own dish. On other days of the week, this place is a great neighborhood bar with cold, affordable beer, plenty of TVs, a dance floor with a DJ, a good jukebox, and an outdoor patio.
Back door is a neighborhood bar. Its run down and somewhat stinky. Drinks are kinda over priced. But they do have an OK happy hour. One plus is they occasionally have a craft beer or two on tap. Food would be a microwave pizza. They have a couple pool tables and electronic darts.
