The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. They are dog-friendly and the owner is very friendly. Despite arriving 30 minutes before closing, the owner later mentioned that he had observed us in the parking lot before allowing us to dine in. We must have passed his test! I came for lunch today at noon and was informed that they had run out of food due to a large party. I had to drive 50 miles to the next town. I find it unacceptable for a restaurant to be open at noon but have no food available. I have to give it a 1 star rating, even though I hate to do so. View all feedback.
Quaint little spot. Menu is limited. Would not be an issue if quality made up for it, but... Vendor does not accept credit card payment, so be prepared with cash.
Humble. Friendly. Service. We stopped by to eat lunch on our way back to home. My family ordered between ham and chicken salad. Sooo good! DO NOT forget to eat your cookie- you may want to order one to go! I wish I lived near to eat here again. Everyone is friendly! Just love this place.
I have always loved the porch, as much for the food as wonderful owner and staff. Sharon and Rodger are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you stop in and try their food which is made with love and care and you can tell.

We stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch while traveling and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. We were unsure about what to expect from "casual fine dining," but the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was top-notch. The patio had nice views and the menu offered a good variety of options without being overwhelming. The price of the meal included bread, a choice of coffee, tea, or water, an entree, and dessert, all of which were excellent. The owners were welcoming and accommodating, making us feel like we were dining with old friends. Despite having four tired and cranky children with us, the owners were attentive and understanding. The dessert, a pastry with cream cheese filling and blueberry compote, was especially outstanding. Overall, we highly recommend stopping at this restaurant.
