I recently visited a restaurant on the reservation and was disappointed to find that none of the staff spoke my Navajo language. The casino on the reservation should prioritize hiring employees who speak Diné. However, the restaurant itself had a nice and friendly environment. First this is not the Buffet The food court make excellent Navajo tacos and Navajo burgers. You order what you want so they aim to please. The staff is super friendly. I asked a whole lot of questions and they had the patience of a saint. The flat bread is huge, the taste is addicting. I want more I had intended to get two tacos but ended up getting 1 taco and one burger. When you see the pic you will know why. Writing this is making me want another
I am extremely upset with this casino for disrespecting my elderly parents, especially my father who is now using a walker. They were kicked out just because my dad had a new walker. They were told that they were not welcome here. The security guard responsible for this should not be allowed to work with older people.
