Best rosti ever. There was a selection but I chose the House Rosti - it was really tasty and a generous helping which was a bonus as Switzerland is very expensive. We both had rosti, a side salad each, a beer and a house white wine - total bill £59.41.This seemed to be the average price for a fairly basic meal for two in other restaurants none of which were 'fine dining' places. The restaurant is situated almost opposi... Beautiful location in the center of Chur with beautiful atmosphere. However, food was overpriced and less than delicious. We had two Rösti dishes with 27 francs each. They were just above the fast food quality. Wouldn't go to lunch again, just for a drink or ice cream. View all feedback.
We had one of their signature dishes Rossi with a chicken curry. Reasonably priced. Filling on a winters day. Accompanied by a local beer and we went to bed feeling very content. The young woman who served us was a delight. Very helpful...explaining menu in English and happy to have a short chat.
Have been here on multiple occasions whilst on holiday in Switzerland. Brilliant service, very friendly, happy to accomdate larger groups, good food menu and excellent food. Would highly recommend.
Avoid this place! The beet salad had gone bad. As in, spoilage was well underway and eating it would have caused food poisoning. My girlfriend pointed it out. They did not even offer to take something off the bill.We were almost finished with our lunches when it got cold and started to rain. So, we moved inside to finish and have coffees. Inside, we were subjected to the most uptight waitress we've ever encountered. She scolded us for moving the placemats, treating us like we were 5 years old. Then she scolded the one Swiss-German speaking person in the party for not doing all the talking. It all made sense as soon as she had said it. I had been speaking high-German and she had treated me like dirt the whole time. The experience left us with that disheartening, unclean feeling that one gets when encountering racism.
Finding most other restaurants in Chur booked up on a .mid friday evening we ended up here. There is terrace but we chose to eat inside. The decor was rather unassuming. I took the house rosti with gruyere cheese topping. This arrived in a piping hot dish and was really good if rather filling. My wife had a chicken salad which she enjoyed. We had soft drinks. The service was attentive. I think that, for what we got, we paid a lot but this is probably par for the course in Switzerland.
Finding an inexpensive restaurant in Chur is not easy so we settled for this mid range conveniently sited place and were not disappointed. A good choice of food, tasty and well presented. Service was brisk yet friendly and good value.
