This was my favorite place to get breakfast in Mérida! I had never been to Mexico before and was feeling a bit home sick I decided to come here for brunch one day and I'm glad I did. The omelette I ordered was fluffy and the orange juice was fresh and sweet. I came here at least 4 times on my trip and was very pleased every time.
Gorgeous pastries, great variety. I needed to provide a really big thank you to a group of wonderful people who had gone way above and beyond the services I 'd paid for. This was beautiful, yummy stuff. A treat for all the senses. I loaded up 4+ boxes of goodies they even provided plastic spoons and forks. I confess I nabbed one of the croissants for myself. What a treat! The best I 've had outside of Paris. Even though most of the staff have very good English most of the praises were moans, big grins and happy sighs. Can 't do better than that!!!
Enjoyed our meal here. Great coffee. Very friendly staff. French toast was too sweet, but omelette was good. Would definitely return. Great view of boulevard.
Avoid this place. Rarely have a seen a place go downhill as rapidly as this one. A few years back, a favorite. Now at the bottom as far as cafes in Merida go. Horrible service, or really no service. One poorly groomed employee making and serving food and drink. The final straw was when I tried to pay the check and needed 20 pesos change. I was told, we don't have change. Find another place for your coffee.
